Our Approach

MCAEL’s  Process:

As a coalition builder, MCAEL draws upon the knowledge that already exists in the community, while also introducing adult English literacy practitioners and volunteers to research and evidence-based practices. We do this several ways, which include working with advisory groups (Provider and Instructor), a volunteer Grants Panel and other groups/committees to convene community and coalition members to address best practices, emerging issues and collective goals.
