Year after year adult educators across the country are concerned about learner retention. Many factors beyond our control contribute to learners persisting in our programs; however, there are strategies programs can use to increase the chances of learners staying. This past year, many MCAEL grant partners focused on enhancing their learner retention efforts with positive results. Let’s discuss what we’re doing that’s working!
During this 1-hour conversation we will:
- Discuss how various programs have focused on increasing learner retention
- Share your retention “wins” to support the larger coalition in retaining more learners in their programs
- Gain new ideas for learner retention from fellow programs and additional resources
