Are you an adult ESOL educator looking to boost your confidence and classroom engagement when using Zoom? Join us for a hands-on Summer Tech workshop where you'll gain practical skills for creating more interactive and engaging online and hybrid classes. In this session, you will learn to create dynamic lessons that increase learner participation through utilizing:
• breakout rooms
• polls
• chat
• online games
This workshop is best for those who would identify as “somewhat comfortable” or “not comfortable” using Zoom features and online games during online or hybrid instruction. Be ready to work on a real upcoming lesson so you can apply the tools and strategies learned directly to your own teaching plans.
Format: This is a hybrid workshop. Participants can choose to attend in person or online.
Requirements: In person participants, please bring your computers for a fully immersive experience.
Lunch will be provided for in-person participants.
