Experienced adult ESOL teacher needed to teach an online class on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Classes begin on April 11 and end on June 8. This is a paid position; hourly rates vary with education and experience.
New teacher will use English as the language of instruction; prepare lesson plans and syllabus that include materials from the Ventures curriculum; take regular attendance; administer informal and formal assessments and evaluations; and begin and end instruction on-time. A complete FBI/State background clearance is required prior to being hired.
New teacher needs to be respectful, supportive, and encouraging to every student and adhere to guidelines for the full duration of the semester. Teachers are required to attend all mandatory meetings and professional development trainings.
