MCAEL is organizing a panel discussion on the barriers to learning English for learners from harder-to-reach communities, how providers can reach out to these learners, and what can help them stay in class. Participating adult ESOL program managers and instructors will also receive an update from the Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center on resources available for immigrants in Montgomery County, to enable them to better support their learners.
Please note that this meeting will be held in the large conference room at the East County Regional Services Center. The address is: 3300 Briggs Chaney Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904.
