Seeking ESOL Instructor for In-Person Class

Duties:

• Teach adult ESOL classes (in-person or online opportunities available)
• Create exciting, imaginative lesson plans and class syllabus
• Use textbooks and realia in the class.
• Administer classwork, homework, and quizzes to confirm comprehension
• Abide to program policies and procedures
• Communicate with students weekly via WhatsApp, Remind, or text messages
• Email welcome letters to students prior to the start of a new session
• Email new registration and informational links to students
• Take attendance
• Administer tests and assessments regularly

Requirements:

• 18+ years old
• College degree or TESOL certification
• Experience teaching adult ESOL students
• Must be friendly and have an outgoing personality
• Experience working with a diverse student population

Once hired applicant must:

• Complete criminal background check (FBI/State)
• Complete weekly time sheet 
• Complete online trainings bi-monthly
• Attend 3 mandatory staff meetings/year
