MCAEL is pleased to offer this fall our popular “More Learning, Less Teaching” Instructor training workshop. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers new the field to examine and use proven Adult ESOL techniques in a 14-hour training session. Experienced instructors will also learn useful tips and strategies.
Participants will explore the principles of adult learning; learn how to structure a class; participate in multiple classroom activities that can be used in the ESOL classroom; and learn about using realia. This training is valued at approximately $200/person/day and each participant will receive a bag of teaching materials valued at $80, and a certificate of participation.
This is a free two-day workshop. Full attendance on both days is required.
