MCAEL regularly collects and analyzes data on adult English learners and ESOL classes to gain an overall picture of adult ESOL services in the county. We are excited to walk you through our most recent StoryMap, which includes the latest U.S. Census data (2023) and details of the 2024-25 program year. We will look at these questions and more:
How many and what types of classes were offered? Where are ESOL services being offered in the county? Who in the county accessed ESOL classes (demographic information)? What do year-over-year comparisons reveal about key trends in our adult ESOL community, including mode of class delivery (online, in-person, hybrid)?
